Why are some countries rich and others poor? Make a prediction, examine real country and research records, and defend an explanation that takes a difficult case and a serious rival into account.

Record your first country-pattern prediction and explain its reasoning.
Complete the country lab: inspect the required measures, compare two countries, retain a challenging case, save an omission check and restore all twelve.
Complete the historical evidence and pathway record, including the relevance and limit of a selected source.
Complete the health challenge, explaining a named study, its outcome and finding, and an alternative or condition relevant to the comparison.
Complete all three final-explanation steps with at least two evidence groups, a rival and meaningful next test, reconsideration evidence, a conditional action, an obstacle and a well-being comparison.

Submit

After all five Full records and the final explanation are confirmed, download the TXT report or Print / save report as PDF. Submit that readable report through your course website. Include the name or submission ID your instructor requests. Downloading does not submit the file.

What will be assessed

Accuracy and relevance of evidence; a clear claim, scope and possible process; a credible rival and informative next test; honest limits; a conditional action and its implications; and an explanation of what changed or survived. A particular political or economic position is not required. Completion checks are not a grade.
