Greenovia:
The Belonging Test

Every rule draws a line.
Who gets to cross it?

Write a promise. Make a bargain. Follow the people who have to live with your charter.

Solo take-home work: estimate 85–110 minutes, plus discussion. You can pause during a draft or after a council file.

Greenovia: The Belonging Test screen-print cover, created by Yoav Duman.

Build a charter. Test its boundaries.

Three regional seats, eight council files, and people whose circumstances cross the categories. Apply your adopted rules accurately, defend different political choices, and explain the gap between membership, usable rights and recognition.

Save progress downloads a portable JSON backup and offers restore, conflict recovery, and pause guidance. Wait for the saved status before closing. Browser saves belong to this browser, device and website address; use a JSON backup when changing any of them.

PDF report creates your readable assignment. Check the file and submit it to Canvas or your instructor yourself. A report cannot restore the game. Unfinished work is labeled as a draft. Larger text and the Field guide are available inside the activity.

For instructors

Preserve the full take-home sequence to let early charter choices accumulate consequences. The guide provides natural pause points, two contrasting worked examples, and criteria for assessing rule application and reasoning separately.

Edition 2026-10-11.1; save format 2; compatible existing version 2 charter rules. Estimate 85–110 minutes solo plus discussion. Pause after founding citizenship, the exam clash, or the victory podium, or during a draft. Progress saves in this browser on this device when the saved status confirms it. A JSON backup transfers work across devices, website addresses and HTML copies; PDF and report HTML are readable submissions, not resumable backups. Restores are validated and previewed, preserve the replaced session, and conflicting tabs pause saving. Download the report, check that your name and every answer are readable, and submit it yourself to Canvas or your instructor’s chosen system. Completion is separate from the quality of reasoning. See Field guide or the instructor guide for objectives, worked contrasts and assessment.
